Elijah Adebayo Pleased With Walsall's Progression as Spirits Soar

Walsall striker Elijah Adebayo has spoken ahead of this weekend's League Two clash with Port Vale and insisted the team spirit is growing following a positive run of results over recent weeks.
London-born Adebayo has been part of the Saddlers teams which has gone unbeaten in their last three outings, with his performance against Northampton Town catching the eye, as he entered one of his best performances of the season.

The 21-year-old has made thirty-five club appearances since arriving in WS1 over the summer, believes spirits are high as the team has begun to make good progress including last weekend's comeback win over Northampton Town.

Speaking via the club's official website, Elijah said; "We've been training hard and everyone's been putting in the work. We can definitely see that we're making progression.

"They're good results, we'd have taken seven points from nine definitely at the start of the week. We're growing as a group and the spirit in the camp is great.

"Everyone gets on, so it's about pushing each other to keep going on this final push for the rest of the season."

Elijah admitted has learnt a lot since he joined the club as part of an almost complete summer shake-up, with both senior members of the squad and the team's coaching staff on hand to help him improve his overall game.

Elijah continued; "We have great pros, great senior pros to go and ask anything and they'll give you the best advice.

"They've been through it; they've gone through the stages we're going through right now. They know how to deal with things the best way possible, the experienced lads are great to have around."
