Central League: Walsall to Face Rotherham United in Behind Closed Doors Clash

Brian Dutton's development team will be back in action later this afternoon as they play host to Rotherham United Reserves in their latest Central League - North East Midlands fixture of the season.
With places in the first-team up for grabs several of the Saddlers' fringe players will have the opportunity to add themselves to manager Darrell Clarke's team selection for this weekend's League Two clash with Port Vale.

The match will be played on the 4G pitch behind the HomeServe Stand at Banks's Stadium and will likely see both teams name young teams as their first-teams continue to prepare for next weekend's round of fixtures.

Sadly, the match will not be open to the viewing public as there is ongoing building work taking place in and around the ground making it unsafe for spectators to attend.
