WFCCP: School Partners Game This Weekend

This weekend's Sky Bet League One clash between Walsall and Stevenage will be the first 'School Partners' game of the season as Walsall FC's Community Programme welcomes hundreds of young fans to Banks's Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 'School Partners' initiative aims to give rise to the next generation of Saddlers supporters with all those due to be in attendance having received tickets through their Walsall FC Partner School at reduced prices.

Since School Partners games began in 2008 more than 20,000 tickets have been sold with over £10,000 of much-needed funds donated back to local schools.

Schools can get various benefits by partnering with Walsall FC and the Community Programme. Schools can receive PE lessons run by WFCCP's qualified coaches, as well as cashback on after school clubs held by their staff.

There is also first option on Walsall FC player appearances, and participating schools will be receive a signed football from the club.

Other benefits include ground tours, ticket offers on selected Walsall fixtures and an invitation to a national school 6-a-side competition.

There will be 874 extra people in attendance thanks to the ever-popular offer with forty-four local primary schools involved.
