Leigh Pomlett Issues a Rallying Cry Ahead of Scunthorpe Clash

Walsall chairman Leigh Pomlett has issued a rallying cry ahead of this weekend's League Two clash between the Saddlers and Scunthorpe United.
Pomlett, who recently completed a takeover which saw former owner Jeff Bonser and his brother Robert leave the club, has called upon supporters to get behind the team as they look to build upon their midweek win over Morecambe.

Released via the club's official Twitter feed, Leigh asks fans for patience as he and his fellow board members continue to look ahead to the future before asking fans to rally the troops and back the boys.

Leigh said; "I know we have to play our part in providing a team you really want to watch and we will, but come and watch and bring as many friends as you can."

Supporters wishing to attend this weekend's clash with the Iron can purchase tickets by calling the Ticket Office at Banks's Stadium on 01922 651414 or 01922 651416 or by visiting the club's e-ticketing website.
