Sadler, who returned to the club for a second spell in the summer, has featured in all but one of the Saddlers’ five games so far this season and the 34-year-old has says he has enjoyed being back and is keen to embrace the positivity currently surrounding the club.
Speaking via the club's official website, Mat said; "Outside of these walls and this training ground we can feel a real positivity about the club. I was here before and it feels different to that time, there is a real energy about the place.
"We have had five games and on each occasion the supporters have applauded us off the field. It is refreshing and we want to continue that momentum. You do that with hard work, energy and application."
Birmingham-born Sadler, who made fifty-two appearances during his first spell in WS1 in 2011/12, believes everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet and there is a real unity at the club.
Mat continued; "It doesn't happen too often when everyone comes together. Usually some people are thinking this and others that.
"What I have seen this season is that everyone has come together and is desperate to support the club, win, lose or draw. The manager wants to build a team everyone can be proud of.
"We don't leave anything out on the pitch. Whether that is to salvage a point or score a winner we try everything we can."
