The Saddlers were able to secure a late point as summer signing James Hardy netted four minutes form time. The former AFC Fylde man levelling the scores following Joseph Mills' first-half penalty.
Clarke, who made second-half substitutions which ultimately resulted in the Saddlers' goal insisted his side, who dominated large spells of the match, deserved an equaliser and can take plenty of positives from the result.
