Breaking News: Andy Cook Joins Mansfield Town

Walsall FC have confirmed that last season's top-scorer Andy Cook has today left the club and joined Mansfield Town for an undisclosed fee.

28-year-old Cook, who joined the Saddlers on a free transfer from Tranmere Rovers last summer, bagged eighteen goals during his debut season in the EFL, earning plenty of transfer interest along the way.

News, released via the club's official website, confirms; Walsall FC can today confirm that striker Andy Cook has joined Mansfield Town for an undisclosed fee. The 28-year-old joined the Saddlers from Tranmere Rovers in May 2018 and scored 18 goals in 50 appearances during his only season with the club.
