Pre-Season: Walsall to Face Tranmere Rovers Ahead of 2019/20 Campaign

Walsall FC have confirmed their latest pre-season fixture as new manager Darrell Clarke's preparations for the 2019/20 campaign begin to take shape.

Along with the already reported fixtures against Alfreton Town, Leamington, Nuneaton Borough and Notts County, the Saddlers will be taking on a variety of opponents as they look to build match fitness with the upcoming Sky Bet League Two campaign in mind.

Darrell Clarke’s men will taking on last season's Sky Bet League Two Play-Off Final winners Tranmere Rovers, with the match set to take place at Prenton Park on Saturday, 27th July.

Micky Mellon’s men secured back-to-back Play-Off promotions after beating Newport County 1-0 after extra time in the Final at Wembley Stadium.

Saturday, 6th July v Alfreton Town (A) - 3.00pm
Tuesday, 9th July v Leamington (A) - 7.45pm
Saturday, 13th July v Nuneaton Borough (A) - 3.00pm
Saturday, 20th July v Notts County (A) - 3.00pm
