Going into the game four points from safety and on the back of a run which saw them defeated during seven of their last eight outings, there seemed to be very little hope for the 'Boys from the Bescot' as Darren Ferguson and Play-Off chasing Peterborough came to town.
However, goals from Andy Cook, who grabbed his 18th goal of the campaign, and the unfortunate Daniel Lafferty, and Josh Gordon, saw the Saddlers secure an unlikely victory which - thanks to several favourable result - saw them climb to 22nd in the table, just one point from safety. A superb turnaround, given the dire straits they were in ahead of kick-off.
Next weekend's clash with near-rivals Shrewsbury Town could see the Saddlers secure an unlikely turn around as they now have a huge opportunity to avoid relegation and extend their stay in League One for at least another season.
