Next Walsall Manager: Wednesday's Updated Odds

As caretaker manager Martin O'Connor continues to prepare his side for this weekend's League One clash with Accrington Stanley, EFL sponsor Sky Bet have compiled the latest odds on who is likely to take the permanent manager's job at Banks's Stadium.
Whilst the main favourite remains the same as suggested at the weekend, with former Charlton Athletic, Huddersfield Town, and Southend United boss Chris Powell currently topping the table with odds of 7/2.

Current caretaker Martin O'Connor is now joint second favourite to take the helm, with ex-Shrewsbury Town boss Paul Hurst, who is believed to be the fans' favourite for the job, joining him with odds of 4/1.

Former Saddlers striker Jorge Leitáo can be backed at 16/1 whilst current Watford assistant manager Zigor Aranalde is available at 12/1. Club legend and short-term assistant David Kelly is listed at 22/1 with King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp appearing at 33/1.

Former CSKA Sofia manager Nestor El Maestro remains among the more random suggestions with the 36-year-old joining Ian Sharps, Keith Hill, Lee Clark, and Steve Evans in the betting with odds of 20/1.
