Red Card Roy: An Evening With Roy McDonough

There is a new date for your diary as former Walsall striker Roy McDonough will be taking part in a Sporting Dinner at Lazy Hill Tavern on Thursday, 18th April, with fellow Saddlers stars Kenny Mower, Don Penn, and Ron Green also scheduled to be in attendance.
Solihull-born Roy made just over ninety first-team appearances in a Saddlers shirt, scoring sixteen goals, and also played for the likes of Birmingham City, Colchester United, Southend United, Exeter City, and Cambridge United during a sixteen year 661-game career.

The 60-year-old will be on hand to provide those in attendance with first-hand tales of a career which saw him hit the headlines as he earned a reputation for leaving his mark on opponents, going on to earn twenty-two dismissals - the most in the Football League.

Tickets for the event, which will begin at 7.00pm on Thursday, 18th April, cost £20 per person and include a fish and chip supper along with comedy from Black Country comedian Jonny Cole, with real cask ales also available for purchase at the bar.

To secure your seat, call 07305 851120.
