11:45 am Tuesday, 1 January 2019
Former Walsall winger Josh Ginnelly, who officially completed a move to Preston North End earlier today, has taken to social media to thank the Saddlers, players, officials, and supporters as he begins a new chapter in his career.
21-year-old, Coventry born Ginnelly, who made twenty-five first-team appearances since returning to Banks's Stadium over the summer, has penned a two-and-a-half-year deal with Preston and wished to thank is former teammates for their support and guidance over the last few months.

Speaking via his official Twitter feed, Josh said; "I would just like to say a massive thank you Walsall FC, I can't thank the people of this club enough for all the support/guidance they've given me, especially the gaffer and his staff.

"But the opportunity that's been given to me is one I can't turn down. I'm still young but I've worked hard for this thank you for the good luck messages from you Saddlers very closely.

"I feel this is the next step for me to keep progressing and learning as a player and person. I wish the club and the lads all the best for the season/future. Thank you, Gino."
