Andy Cook Named in EFL's Team of the Week

Walsall striker Andy Cook has been named in the EFL's League One 'Team of the Week' following his match-winning hat-trick against Gillingham on Saturday afternoon.
Cook, who joined the Saddlers from Tranmere Rovers over the summer, has scored fifteen goals in all-competitions so far this season and is swiftly becoming a fan's favourite thanks to his no-nonsense displays in front of goal.

Like James Collins, Cook also scored a hat-trick, helping Walsall to an impressive 3-0 away win over Gillingham. It was a clinical display, with two well-placed headers and a left-footed effort seeing him take home the match ball.

Andy is joined in the 'Team of the Week' by Frank Fielding (Bristol City), Sido Jombati (Wycombe Wanderers), John Brayford (Burton Albion), Harry Toffolo (Lincoln City), Kamohelo Mokotjo (Brentford), Jay O’Shea (Bury), Stephen Humphrys (Southend), Brad Potts (Preston North End), James Collins (Luton Town), Tyler Smith (Doncaster Rovers), and manager - David Flitcroft (Mansfield Town).
