Walsall to Sign Immediate Replacement as Josh Ginnelly Prepares to Move

With Walsall winger Josh Ginnelly set to leave the club as soon as the January Transfer Window opens tomorrow, manager Dean Keates has spoken to the press and revealed that he has already agreed terms with a replacement, with his new recruit ready to step straight in.
Ginnelly, who is out of contract in the summer, is set to join Championship outfit Preston North End on Tuesday as both he and the club came to terms on a deal which should see the Saddlers receive a six-figure sum, and give Keates some room to manoeuvre as he looks to add to his squad before the Transfer Window closes in a month's time.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Dean said; "We will have one or two additions coming in January and we’ve already got one done. There’s one that’s going out and we’ve got one ready to come straight in. On what’s going out, we’ve covered our bases and there’s a new addition ready to come into the group."

It is believed that 21-year-old, Coventry-born Ginnelly, who has made twenty-five first-team appearances since returning to the club over the summer, has been training with Preston over the last couple of weeks as he gets set to begin a new chapter in his career.
