Under the guidance of manager Ray Graydon, the Saddlers achieved promotion against all the odds after finishing runners-up in Division Two, joining league champions Fulham, and eventual Play-Off winners Manchester City in Division One.
Saddlers fans voted 1998/99 as the greatest season in our history in a Football League survey back in 2013, and to mark the 20-year anniversary of that unforgettable campaign, the club is bringing the band back together!
All-time record appearance-maker Jimmy Walker, fans’ favourite Chris Marsh and that season’s top scorer Andy Rammell will all be in attendance. There will be photo opportunities with the players – as well as ‘Sir Ray’ himself.
