Walsall's Development Side in Action This Afternoon

Walsall's development side are in action this afternoon as they travel to the Lilleshall National Sports and Conference Centre to take on Burnley's Under-23s in a behind closed doors pre-season friendly.
The Clarets, who are in Lilleshall for a pre-season training camp, will also be facing the Saddlers' local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers on later this weekn as they prepare for their upcoming campaign.

Walsall, who are managed by veteran coach John Ward, will once again be plying their trade in the Central League and also testing themselves in competitions such as the Walsall, Staffordshire, and Birmingham Senior Cups as the squad, which is primarily made up of young players, seek to gain experience ahead of potential first-team appearances.
