HomeServe Confirm Sponsorship of the Former Gilbert Alsop Stand

Following Tile Choice's recent decision to end their sponsorship of the former Gilbert Alsop Stand, HomeServe have confirmed that they have agreed to take up naming rights for the Banks's Stadium's only two-tiered stand from the start of next season.
Earlier in June it was confirmed that after seven years of stand sponsorship Tile Choice had opted to switch their attention to the club's LED screens, which are situated on the busiest stretch of the M6, leaving a large sponsorship opportunity up for grabs.

HomeServe, which employs over 1,700 people at its headquarters on Cable Drive in Walsall, and a further 1,500 around the UK, has been a proud supporter of The Saddlers since signing its first sponsorship deal with the club in 2014 and were happy to jump in and take such a prominent advertising position.

The news comes just over a year after they agreed a new five-year principal sponsorship deal which will see the club's logos on the club's kits and on various parts of the ground in a deal which will run until the end of the 2021/22 season.

The stand was originally named after club legend Gilbert Alsop before being renamed the Purple Loans Stand in 2002 following major redevelopment into a two-tier all-seater.

HomeServe had been teasing an announcement via their Social Media pages for the last week or so and finally revealed all on Sunday morning.
