Chris Dunn: "I'm Really Excited to Get Underway"

Following the news that he'd joined the club on a one-year deal, former Wrexham goalkeeper Chris Dunn has spoken to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to return to league football.
The towering 6’5” London-born stopper, who along with amassing over fifty National League appearances with Wrexham, has played in the EFL for Northampton Town, Coventry City, Yeovil Town and Cambridge United, making over 240 appearances since turning professional over a decade ago, and is keen to add to that tally as he begins a new chapter of his career.

Speaking via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk - Chris said; "I’m really excited to get underway and I’m looking forward to the season. It’s a great opportunity for me. I’m looking forward to working with the gaffer and Michael Oakes again. That was a big pull to come here and also to get back in the league, which is where I want to be.

"It was brilliant working with them and we enjoyed a decent season last year defensively. We kept a lot of clean sheets and had the best defensive record. I’ve played throughout the leagues and I’m hardworking, a good pro. I’ll be looking to bring a bit of experience to the goalkeeping department."
