Zeli Ismail: Former Walsall Loanee Released by Bury

5:06 pm Friday, 11 May 2018
Former Walsall loanee Zeli Ismail has been named among a number of players to be released by recently relegated Bury, as they begin to reshape their squad ahead of next season's Sky Bet League Two campaign.
Ismail, a product of Wolverhampton Wanderers' youth system, made twenty first-team appearances during a six-month loan spell at Banks's Stadium early in the 2017/18 campaign, before being recalled by his parent club as they struggled to find form.

Zeli, who was named alongside Nathan Cameron, Craig Jones, Andrew Tutte, and Chris Humphrey on the Shakers' released list, is likely to have plenty of suitors over the summer but there is no doubt he would be welcome back at the Saddlers as we look to improve on a dismal campaign.
