Rushall Olympic Appeal For Information Following Break-In at Dales Lane

Local Evo-Stik League Northern Premier Division side Rushall Olympic have this evening confirmed that they have suffered a break in at their Dales Lane ground with both money stolen and property damaged.
It is believed the club's Sponsors Lounge, Boardroom, Development Room, Club Shop and bar area were all ransacked before the assailants used the club's minibus to brake through several gates before escaping in the Pelsall area.

A statement, released via The Pics' official website ROFC.co.uk, confirms, We are sad to report that Dales Lane was broken in to during the early hours of the morning of Thursday, 31st May 2018.

Significant damage was inflicted to our Sponsors Lounge, Boardroom, Development Room, Club Shop and bar area, which were ransacked. A safe was broken in to with money taken, including a charity box and kids’ sweet machine money.

Our liveried club minibus was used as a battering ram to break through two sets of club gates before being abandoned with extensive damage in the Pelsall area. We believe that they left the club around 4.15am.

Pics Vice Chairman, Nick Allen said; "We are devastated by this mindless vandalism, significant theft and damage. This is not just a case of taking something that we have worked hard to gain, but also damaging our club that works hard with a small, loyal band of people to provide a thriving, community-spirited non-League club and social space for our locality.

"We will be setting up a Crowdfunding page where all funds will go towards remedial works and ground improvements. Details will be announced shortly. In the meantime, if you have any information, please call 101 in the strictest confidence."
