Keates recently spoke to the local media and admitted that, following a campaign which saw the side struggle towards the bottom of the League One table, he is keen to revamp his side, insisting he will build a team which will represent the fans.

In a statement, released via the club's official website - Saddlers.co.uk - it has been confirmed that Vice Captain Joe Edwards has been offered a new deal whilst striker Amadou Bakayoko will be remaining at the club after they took up an option to extend his stay for a further year.
Florent Cuvelier, Simeon Jackson, Reece Flanagan, Will Shorrock and Milan Butterfield have all been given free transfers and therefore been released.
