Bakayoko Stay Extended as Walsall Take Up Contract Option

As part of Friday morning's 'Released and Retained' statement, Walsall FC confirmed that striker Amadou Bakayoko will remain at the club for another season.
22-year-old, Sierra Leone-born Bakayoko, scored eight goals in forty-seven first-team appearances over the course of the season and will have to improve on that number if he is to retain a spot in a rebuilt Saddlers side.

Baka, who will remain at the club after it took up an option to extend his stay for a further year, turned professional in December 2013 and has gone on to make over one-hundred appearances for the side.

Ama is not short of his critics and will no-doubt be keen to prove them wrong as he prepares for another season at Banks's Stadium.
