Walsall defender Liam Kinsella was named in the Republic of Ireland Under-21s starting eleven as they faced Iceland Under-21s on Thursday evening.

Kinsella, who had been an unused substitute in his most recent international call-up, played for the entire game as the Republic of Ireland Under-21s defeated Iceland Under-21s by three-goals-to-one at the Tallaght Stadium in Dublin.

Goals from Rory and his brother Ronan Hale, scored either side of Ryan Manning's first-half strike saw Noel King's side ease to victory ahead of Tuesday's UEFA U21 European Championship qualifier against Azerbaijan.
