Walsall forward Erhun Oztumer has been named in the EFL's Team of the Week following his superb hat-trick scoring performance against Southend United on Saturday afternoon.

Walsall’s diminutive number 10 netted a second-half hat-trick against the Shrimpers, as the Saddlers bounced back from successive defeats in League One.

Erhun, who scored his first career treble the Saddlers secured three crucial points away from home, has been named alongside Jason Steele (Sunderland), Kean Bryan (Oldham Athletic), Mark Ellis (Carlisle United), Brad Halliday (Cambridge United), Joe Lolley (Nottingham Forest), Stefan Johansen (Fulham), Luke Russe (Bristol Rovers), Patrick Bamford (Middlesbrough), Bobby Reid (Bristol City), Sean Maguire (Preston North End) and manager Richie Wellens (Oldham Athletic).
