Dean Keates Confirmed as Walsall's New Manager

Walsall FC have swooped to sign former Saddlers midfielder Dean Keates, who leaves National League outfit Wrexham to return to his hometown club.
Following several hours of speculation, Walsall Football Club have confirmed the managerial appointment of former Saddlers midfielder Dean Keates, who returns to Banks's Stadium on a three-and-a-half-year deal after leaving National League title-chasers Wrexham.

Walsall FC also confirmed that they have paid a compensation package to National League side Wrexham, where Keates has been in charge, to bring the 39-year-old back to the Banks’s Stadium.
