EFL Highlights Show Set to Switch Channels Next Season

The EFL are set to confirm that the Saturday evening highlights shows, currently carried by broadcaster Channel 5, are to be screened on free-to-air digital channel Quest from the beginning of the 2018/19 season, as the league look to boost their somewhat low viewing figures.

Channel 5, which has held the rights for the last three seasons and has opted not to renew their deal, currently split the highlights into two packages with the Championship enjoying it's own show before league's One and Two are shown together in a programme called 'Goal Rush'.

It is unknown if that format will continue on Quest, which is owned by the wealthy Liberty Group, with very few details currently known as the channeland EFL continue to work out the finer details of their agreement.
