Walsall Hoping to Sign Arsenal Defender Krystian Bielik

Walsall are hoping to complete the Deadline Day signing of Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik.
Walsall are hoping to complete the Deadline Day signing of Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik, with the 20-year-old former Poland Under-19 international set to link up with the Saddlers for the remainder of the season.

Bielik, who can also play as a defensive midfielder, joined the Gunners from Legia Warsaw in January 2015 and has gone on to make several appearances for their development side.

Krystian, who spent six-months on loan with Birmingham City in 2017 - making ten appearances, is believed to be keen to get back to first-team football after recently returning to fitness following shoulder surgery.

Neither club has commented on the link, but talks are thought to be at an advanced stage with the Saddlers leading a large number of clubs seeking to secure the signing.
