Sunderland Join the List of Clubs Linked With Former Saddler Tom Bradshaw

Sunderland are the latest side to be linked with a move for Barnsley's former Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, as the Welsh international continues to attract interest from clubs up and down the country.
Sky Bet Championship strugglers Sunderland have become the latest side to be linked with a move for Barnsley's former Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, as the Welsh international continues to attract interest from clubs up and down the country.

Shrewsbury-born Bradshaw, who scored forty goals in eighty-six  Walsall appearances, has been a regular for the Tykes so far this season - scoring eleven goals in thirty-one first-team outings.

Tom left the Saddlers to join Barnsley in July 2016 for a fee believed to be in the region of £650,000 plus add-ons meaning Walsall will be in line for a small financial boost should the ex-Aberystwyth Town striker complete a move away from Oakwell over the next few weeks.

Media reports suggest that the Black Cats, who are currently managed by former Wales boss Chris Coleman are keen to add to their strikeforce following the recent departures of Lewis Grabban - who returned to parent club Bournemouth - and James Vaughan, who now plys his trade for Wigan Athletic.

Sunderland, who are currently at the foot of the Sky Bet Championship table having won just four of their twenty-seven league games, face some stiff competition in their pursuit for Bradshaw with Ipswich Town, Queens Park Rangers and Reading already being linked with a move.
