Jimmy McEwan

Former Arbroath, Raith Rovers, Aston VIlla and Walsall right winger Jimmy McEwan has died at the age of 88.
We are saddened to learn of the passing of former Arbroath, Raith Rovers, Aston VIlla and Walsall right winger Jimmy McEwan, who has died at the age of 88.

Born in Dundee, Jimmy made over 350 league appearances during a career which spanned twenty years and would hang up his boots in 1967, before joining the coaching staff at Fellows Park, remaining at the club until the early seventies.

After leaving the beautiful game Jimmy went on to work at Ansells Brewery and at the Social Security Offices in Handsworth.

We would like to pass on our sincere condolences to Jimmy's family, friends, and fans during this sad time.
