The draw for the Second Round of the ever-controversial Checkatrade Trophy has taken place at Wembley Stadium, and sees the Saddlers, who finished top of Northern Group E following Tuesday evening's victory over Shrewsbury Town, drawn at home to Bury.

Walsall qualified for the knock-out stages alongside runners-up Shrewsbury Town with Coventry City and West Bromwich Albion's Under-21s exiting the competition at the First Round stage.
