Midfield Duo Head Out on Loan

Saddlers midfielders Jordon Sangha and Kacy Milan Butterfield have joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier side Rushall Olympic on one-month loan deals.
Walsall Football Club have confirmed that midfielders Jordon Sangha and Kacy Milan Butterfield have joined local Evo-Stik Northern Premier side Rushall Olympic on one-month loan deals.

Academy graduate Sangha had a brief loan spell with Telford last season and has made one substitute appearance this term in the Checkatrade Trophy, replacing Kieron Morris late on in our 3-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion’s U21s.

That was his second senior appearance in total for The Saddlers, having been handed his debut by manager Jon Whitney in last season’s competition at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium.

Butterfield made five appearances for Leamington in a month-long loan spell earlier this season and has, along with Under-23s captain Sangha, made several appearances for John Ward's Development Squad.

Jordon spoke to club journalists and welcomed the opportunity to get more first-team football, he said; "I’m excited because I enjoyed my last spell at Telford, and I want to play men’s football. From what I’ve seen before, the Northern Premier is a really good standard. Rushall will look to play football - we played them in pre-season and they weren’t bad at all.

"They tried to play around us and did it quite well - we drew 2-2. Hopefully I can get into the team and play. I want to play as many games as possible, score a few goals and grab a few assists!"

Milan, who recently had a spell with Leamington, added; "I think my spell with Leamington has prepared me for my next loan because I’m playing men’s football again, so this is a really good chance for me to express myself.

"I was there for a month and enjoyed myself - the biggest difference was it was much faster and a bit tougher. We’re there for a month and I spoke to (new Rushall manager) Liam McDonald last night - he seems like a nice person! Rushall are a good team and look like a passing team - that will suit me as well."
