Following last weekend's Youth Alliance Cup defeat to Shrewsbury Town, Walsall Under-18s return to League action this weekend as they play host to Wigan Athletic at Ray Hall Lane.
The young Saddlers, who are managed by Head of Youth Graham Biggs, are yet to win a game in either league or cup this season, and will have to be at the top of their game if they are to take anything out of the game against the Latics.
Wigan are yet to play an alliance fixture this season but have played friendlies and also got their Youth Alliance Cup campaign off with a defeat to Rotherham United last weekend.
Today's match will take place at the Birmingham County FA's Headquarters on Ray Hall Lane in Great Barr, with kick-off scheduled for 11:00am.
