Walsall Drawn Away From Home in the Staffordshire Senior Cup

6:55 am Friday, 25 August 2017
The Saddlers have been drawn away from home in the First Round of the 2017/18 Staffordshire Senior Cup.
The draw for the First Round of the 2017/18 Staffordshire Senior Cup has taken place and sees the Saddlers, who are entering the tournament for the first time in several years, drawn away to a near neighbour.

Walsall, including Walsall Town FC, have won the tournament on a total of six occasions and have been runners-up a further sixteen times. The men in red were last victorious at the end of the 1967/68 campaign where they defeated Kidderminster Harriers in the final.

The Saddlers, who are likely to be managed by John Ward, will travel to Dales Lane and take on Rushall Olympic with a date for the fixture yet to be confirmed.
