On-loan West Bromwich Albion striker Tyler Roberts, who is currently away on international duty with the Wales Under-21s squad, has spoken of his desire to repay the faith Saddlers manager Jon Whitney has shown in him.
Tyler, who was speaking via the Express & Star, said; "The manager was a big reason why I decided to come here. It is a great club and over the past few years they have done well in the league.
"But it was a window where he been patient, sorting things out. It’s nice to know he would hang out for me and that he rates me that highly, that I was worth waiting for. Hopefully I can repay that faith."
