Whitney Confirms Interest in West Ham United Midfielder

11:15 am Monday, 26 June 2017
19-year-old Dobson made twenty-six first-team appearances for the Saddlers last season, gaining plenty of competitive football as he begins to make his way in the game.
As his the majority of his squad returns to pre-season training, Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken to the local press and confirmed his interest in re-signing West Ham United midfielder George Dobson, who enjoyed a season-long spell with the club last season.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Jon confirmed; "George I am still in discussions with. I am still speaking with his agent. I watched him at the end of last year playing for West Ham under-23s.

"I'm still in touch with George. There is nothing definite on that at the minute but we are still in touch. It is still in the pipeline but I'm not sure which way it will go yet."
