With the 2017/18 campaign edging ever closer, the Saddlers continue to be linked with several potential new recruits, though some deals are more likely to happen than others, here is today's rumoured new arrival.
24-year-old Reading goalkeeper Jonathan Bond, who spent half of last season on-loan to Gillingham, is being linked with a loan switch to Banks's Stadium.
Hemel Hempstead born Bond began his professional career at Watford where he would go on to make over thirty first-team appearances and also enjoyed loan spells with Brackley Town, Forest Green Rovers, Dagenham & Redbridge and Bury before joining Reading for an undisclosed fee in July 2015.
Jonathan has made fourteen appearances for the Royals and also started eight times for Gillingham during a six-month spell.
Walsall coach Neil Cutler is believed to have a keen interest in Bond with the stopper among the names on the list to replace the recently departed Neil Etheridge, who will be joining Cardiff City later this summer.
