Walsall FC have confirmed that they will take on Vanarama National League Champions Lincoln City ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
Jon Whitney's Saddlers will travel to Sincil Bank on the final Saturday before the League One season begins, with a 3pm kick-off on Saturday, 29th July.
Jon Whitney spent three years with the Imps as a player between 1995 and 1998. Lincoln became the first non-league side in 103 years to reach the Quarter-Finals of the FA Cup last season by defeating Burnley to reach the final eight.
Home matches against Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion have already been confirmed, as well as trips to Chester, Solihull Moors, Stafford Rangers and Rushall Olympic.
