Morris Happy With Central Role - Keen to Stay Among the Goals

22-year-old, Hereford born Morris netted six goals over thirty-seven appearances last season, a number he is keen to add to during the next campaign.
As he and his teammates continue to enjoy their end of season break, Walsall attacking midfielder Kieron Morris has spoken to club journalists and discussed his recent switch from right-wing to the centre of the pitch, insisting that he is happy to make the move, for the good of his career.

Kieron, who was speaking via Saddlers.co.uk to club press officer Ashley Wilkinson, said; "I like that position. I’ll play in there if the gaffer wants me to play in me there because it adds games to my career.

"I like the wing as well because I like to get at players, but I’ll play wherever I’m asked to. Getting six goals this season I’m delighted with, but I wanted more. I wanted 10 and to get into double figures but in football it doesn’t always go to plan.

"I’ll take it one step at a time and look forward to it. I feel like I’m progressing all the time, as I’m getting older and getting more experience as well. I feel like I’m more senior pro instead of a young lad!"
