On-loan West Ham United midfielder George Dobson has spoken to the local press ahead of Sunday's season-ending League One clash with Milton Keynes Dons, and has discussed how much he has learnt during his time with the club before hinting that he could return next season.
Speaking via the Express & Star, George said; "The target for me this season was to get around 25 performances and Port Vale was my 25th so it was nice to hit that. I’ll go back to West Ham at the end of the season and I’ve got one year left on my contract and then see what happens from there.
"I want to be able to go back out on loan next season and Walsall is definitely a club I’m interested in coming back to. We will just have to see what happens. I don’t know what West Ham want to do. But I am open to everything.
"I just want to play football and wherever I have an opportunity to do that I will look at it and consider – and it could easily be here."
