Walsall striker Amadou Bakayoko has been named in the Checkatrade Trophy's 'Team of the Tournament' following a campaign which saw him grab six goals in four games, including a first-half hat-trick during the Saddlers' 5-2 victory over Grimsby Town.
Walsall striker Amadou Bakayoko has been named in the Checkatrade Trophy's 'Team of the Tournament' following a campaign which saw him grab six goals in four games, including a first-half hat-trick during the Saddlers' 5-2 victory over Grimsby Town.

21-year-old Bakayoko, who was the tournament's top-scorer, also scored against Sheffield United, Leicester City U21 and Oldham Athletic.

Baka is named in the team alongside Jamal Blackman (Wycombe Wanderers), Ryan Haynes (Coventry City), Phil Edwards (Oxford United), Jordan Willis (Coventry City), Jack Senior (Luton Town), Marvin Johnson (Oxford United), Matt Dolan (Yeovil Town), Jodi Jones (Coventry City), Josh Murphy (Norwich City U21), Oliver McBurnie (Swansea City U21) and manager Michael Appleton (Oxford United).
