A representative of Walsall Council has taken to Twitter to warn of possible traffic delays before and after this evening's Sky Bet League One clash between Walsall and Fleetwood Town, which could see the Saddlers win their seventh home league game in a row.

News, released via Twitter, confirms; Fans are advised to allow extra time to get to tonight’s match as there are temporary traffic signals in operation at the junction of A4148 Broadway and A4031 West Bromwich Road (The Fullbrook PH) whilst urgent water main repairs take place.

Please note that those fans travelling northwards on the M6 after the game will be able to use the northbound entry slip road at Junction 9 until 2230 (10.30 pm) this evening. After this time the slip road will be closed to allow works on the motorway network to take place. Due to other works ongoing on the motorway network access to Junction 10 will be via A4148 Bescot Road, A4148 Old Pleck Road/Pleck Road and A454 Wolverhampton Road.
