Cockerill-Mollett Among Apprentice of the Year Nominees

Young Walsall left-back Callum Cockerill-Mollett, who signed his first professional contract with the club in August 2016, has been nominated for the LFE Apprentice of the Year award for League One.

Callum, who made his senior debut in the 5-2 Checkatrade Trophy victory over Grimsby Town in August last year, was part of the Saddlers' Development Squad that won the Central League North West Division title earlier this term.

Callum has been nominated alongside Matthew Gillam (Rochdale) and Lewis Butroid (Scunthorpe United).

The annual awards take place in London on Sunday 9th April. For more details, visit: eflawards2017.co.uk
