Walsall's on-loan Southampton defender Jason McCarthy has spoken to the local press ahead of this evening's League One clash with Millwall, and has called upon his teammates to concentrate on their strengths rather than focusing on the opposition.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Jason said; "We are relishing the game. It’s going to be tough but we are in really good form. The last few months we have been focusing on ourselves rather than worrying about the opposition.

"We do our analysis as a group, of course we do. And I will do my bits and look at who I am up against. But it’s about us at the end of the day. We showed in the second half against Bury and against Sheffield United and Bristol Rovers that we can be frightening.

"We can be in the top six if we keep hitting our potential. We are going to take each game as it comes. Millwall will be a difficult game but we are looking to go there and get the win."
