Walsall goalkeeper Neil Etheridge and left-back Scott Laird, who is on-loan from Scunthorpe United, have both been named in the Football League Paper's League One 'Team of the Day' following the Saddlers' Sky Bet League One draw with Southend United.

The duo, who are joined in the team by Phil Edwards (Oxford United), Jason Pearce (Charlton Athletic), Baily Cargill (Gillingham), Bradley Dack (Gillingham), Ed Upson (Milton Keynes Dons), Jay O'Shea (Chesterfield), Shane Ferguson (Millwall), James Vaughan (Bury) and Zach Colugh (Bolton Wanderers), were solid in defence as the Saddlers secured a point against a solid Shrimpers side.
