Walsall striker Simeon Jackson, who has scored five goals in twelve appearances since he joined the club in the summer, has spoken to the local press and discussed his desire to add more goals to his game.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Simeon said; "I’ve had a few seasons where things haven’t gone so well – but you come through it mentally stronger and hungry to do well. I feel good but I still feel I have got a lot more to give.

"It’s been a really good start but hopefully I will score a lot more goals. It’s nice for me to be part of a team that looks to get the ball down and play attacking football.

"From the first day I came in, I got an idea about what the manager is trying to do and I felt straight away I could settle here.

"I see how I fit which is what you need as a player. It’s important for me to know I have got a good chance of playing games and scoring goals. That is all you can ask for as I striker."
