Walsall Football Club have confirmed that central midfielder Isaiah Osbourne has today put pen-to-paper on a new one-year contract following a successful pre-season.

28-year-old Osbourne played for the likes of Aston Villa, Hibernian, Blackpool and Scunthorpe United before joining the Saddlers in September 2015.

The Birmingham-born former England Under 16 international failed to make a first-team appearance as he suffered a serious knee injury during training.

Following almost a year of rehabilitation Isaiah has had a solid pre-season campaign and will be another positive signing as manager Jon Whitney continues to put his stamp on the Saddlers' squad.
