Injury Worry For Walsall as Rico Henry is Stretchered Off

Walsall defender Rico Henry has suffered what appeared to be a shoulder injury during the first-half of Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League One clash between the Saddlers and hosts Oldham Athletic.
Walsall defender Rico Henry has suffered what appeared to be a shoulder injury during the first-half of Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League One clash between the Saddlers and hosts Oldham Athletic.

As the match neared the thirty-minute mark and with the scores still level, Rico, who had just cleared a dangerous Latics free kick for a corner, landed very awkwardly, and following a spell of treatment from the Saddlers' medical team, was unable to continue and left the field on a stretcher, being replaced by Matt Preston.

We hope to have further information on Rico's status following the conclusion of this afternoon's match.
