Following Tuesday evening's pre-season draw with Birmingham City, Walsall manager Jon Whitney has spoken to the local press and discussed midfielder Isaiah Osbourne, who continues to recover from a long-term injury, which saw him miss the 2015/16 campaign.

Speaking via the Express & Star, Jon said; "I expect Ozzy (Osbourne) to be knocking on my door – he's always knocking on my door. I wanted to start him with Adam Chambers to see what he would be like. Ozzy is someone who can break up play but he is also good on the defensive side and technically. He has given me a headache, but it’s a great headache to have.”
