Later today, Jon Whitney's Walsall will travel to the St George's Park National Football Centre near Burton-upon-Trent as they get set to take on recently relegated Norwich City in the first of their pre-2016/17 friendlies.
The Saddlers, who have been back training for the last few weeks, are likely to field all of their recent acquisitions, including latest signing Theo Vassell, as the backroom team begin to look towards the 2016/17 campaign.
