Striker Jordan Cook, who recently rejected Walsall's offer of a new contract, has become the latest now former Saddler to take to Twitter and wish the club, it's staff, players and fans, all the best for the coming campaign.

Jordan, who has been linked with a move to Carlisle United, said; "l was always going to say something to the Walsall supporters when I knew what was happening regarding my future. I didn't want to reply to tweets until I was knew I wouldn't be staying.

"I just want to thank all of the fans for the constant support even through some tough periods, also all the players and all of the staff for everything over these past two great seasons. Made some great friends along the way and I wish the club nothing but success in the future which it truly deserves."
